(LOS ANGELES-Relaxnews)

The third installment in The Twilight Saga, Eclipse, earned $262 million worldwide during its first five days at the box office. It sold about $162 million worth of tickets in North America and earned $100 million internationally in 42 countries.

Worldwide, the opening of The Twilight Saga: Eclipse outshined its predecessor New Moon in many countries, including Russia and Italy. The vampire thriller was the biggest opening day ever in Belgium and has started off well in Scandinavian territories. In the Philippines, it could overtake Spider-Man 3 for the weekend.

In the US, despite the film’s blockbuster opening, there were expectations that it would overcome New Moon figures. It could at the end of the first six-days.

Eclipse will add 22 countries next weekend, including the UK, France and South Korea, and more on July 15, such as Germany, where the film should perform well.

This is the true meaning of teamwork and compassion.

About 200,000 people were killed in the worst earthquake that ever happened on the small island nation of Haiti. Haiti is well-known for its beautiful beaches, friendly people and great island music. The perfect getaway for many rich and famous people around the world.  So, when the people of Haiti were in trouble, these millionaire celebrities banded together and formed Hope for Haiti, which runs a telethon to raise money to help the stricken islanders.

What’s a telethon? Well, it is a help line which you call and say that you’ll give money to Hope for Haiti fund. If you call Hope for Haiti, you may even get to speak to Justin Timberlake, Robert Pattinson, Julia Roberts and George Clooney, and many more top favourites. What’s more, celebrity singers have joined in and put up their songs for download on iTunes. All the money from these song downloads will go to Hope for Haiti funds.

All of the proceeds from the sales of songs and the album will benefit the victims of the Haiti earthquake. The artists’ inspired performances follow:
