How would you like to get behind the scenes of a Hollywood production? Join the talented Sonny Munroe (Demi Lovato from “Camp Rock”), who after posting homemade comedy videos online, is discovered by a television producer and gets the chance to star in the most popular sketch comedy series for kids and tweens - “So Random!”
Now Sonny must adjust to the Hollywood way of life with her fellow young actors - the resident teen queen Tawni (Tiffany Thornton from “Hatching Pete”), super suave Nico, gregarious funnyman Grady and quirky Zora - as well as heartthrob Chad Dyan Cooper (Sterling Knight from “17 Again”), star of the popular drama series “Mackenzie Falls,” which films on adjacent stage. Sonny quickly learns that Chad’s ego is more than she can handle and that there’s a longstanding rivalry between the two casts.
“Sonny with a Chance” premieres 17 October, Saturday at 9.30pm and airs every Saturday and Sunday at 9.30pm.
