Zoo Negara in Ulu Klang is still a treat to go to. It has the big 5 - a group of big animals. The big 5 are the Lions, Tigers, Giraffes, Elephants and Rhinoceroses. A walk around Zoo Negara will take you about 2 hours! So bring a hat and a big bottle of water. Wear sports shoes and comfortable t-shirts. You can also ride on the zoo tram, which will cost you some money. Below are some of the animals that you can see at Zoo Negara today.
Here's the hippopotamus. It's really, really big.
Meet Baby Hippo! So tiny, yet an expert in the water.
The elephant ring is the most popular among visitors. You can feed the elephants sugarcane.
The deer pen is home to a lot of deer. And here, you can feed the deer with leafy veggies.
Giraffes are very loving animals. And they are really, really tall! As tall as a house.
During the day, lions and tigers sleep a lot, so you can't see them walking about. They're nocturnal animals.
If you get tired, you can hop on to a zoo tram. It will take you around the zoo for a fee.
